FLEX Hard Pro

FLEX Hard Pro is a Shore D65 TPU filament engineered for functional, high-wear parts that need genuine mechanical strength, not just flexibility. With enhanced abrasion resistance, high scratch and tear resistance, and reliable performance even at low temperatures, it's built for gears, fasteners, protective housings, and components that see repeated mechanical stress. Free of silicone, plasticisers, oils, and halogens, it delivers the durability of an engineering-grade material with the elasticity only TPU can offer.

No. FLEX Hard Pro does not need to be printed with a hardened nozzle.

Yes. FLEX Hard Pro is a hygroscopic material and should be dried before printing to achieve optimal print quality. We recommend drying for 12 hours at 60°C.

FLEX Hard Pro is harder than FLEX Hard (Shore D65 vs. D58) and stretches less (345% vs. 480% elongation at break). It adds high abrasion, scratch, and tear resistance for parts that see friction and repeated stress. Both reach a Vicat softening temperature of 140°C.

Yes. FLEX Hard Pro maintains its flexibility even at low temperatures.

Yes. FLEX Hard Pro offers good chemical resistance, suited to demanding industrial applications.

No. FLEX Hard Pro is not certified for food contact.

Compliance applies to the raw material, not the finished printed part. Any part intended for a regulated application must undergo separate certification by an accredited third-party laboratory. Requirements vary depending on intended use and applicable standards.

Store FLEX Hard Pro in a dry room at room temperature (18–27°C / 65–80°F). Stored neatly, it is protected from dust and sunlight.

When stored correctly, FLEX Hard Pro has a shelf life of 2 years.

Recommended settings for printers with a 0.4 mm nozzle. Max. 50% layer height. Optimal settings may vary between printers and are also dependent on environmental factors.

Our material profiles make printing easier and more reliable. The profiles are perfectly optimised for Extrudr filaments and deliver perfect results straight away. Simply select your printer and material, import the profile into your slicer, and you’re ready to go.
