DuraPro PC/PBT CF is a carbon fiber-reinforced filament built for industrial 3D printing, combining high strength with genuine impact resistance. Unlike most reinforced materials, carbon fiber content here doesn't come at the cost of toughness, both stiffness and impact resistance improve over the standard blend. It offers excellent heat and chemical resistance, low warping, and a lightweight strength-to-weight ratio, finished with a sleek carbon look. A hardened nozzle is required for printing, due to the abrasive nature of the carbon fiber content.

DuraPro PC/PBT CF Highlights
LIGHTWEIGHT STRENGTH-TO-WEIGHT RATIO
A high strength-to-weight ratio, well suited to structural parts where reducing weight matters.
MADE IN AUSTRIA
From the Austrian Alps, every Extrudr spool is manufactured with care, precision and strict EU standards.
FITS ANY PRINTER, ANY SYSTEM
From standard FDM printers to AMS and multi-material setups, Extrudr filament is built to work reliably with the printer you already own.
HIGH HEAT RESISTANCE
Improved thermal performance over the standard blend, holds its shape reliably under serious thermal stress.
RETAINS HIGH IMPACT RESISTANCE
Unlike most carbon-fiber-reinforced materials, the filament keeps much of its toughness, including no-break performance in unnotched impact testing.
CARBON FIBER REINFORCED
Significantly increases rigidity and mechanical strength, so parts resist flexing and hold their shape under load.
Recommended settings for printers with a 0.4 mm nozzle. Max. 50% layer height. Optimal settings may vary between printers and are also dependent on environmental factors.
Our material profiles make printing easier and more reliable. The profiles are perfectly optimised for Extrudr filaments and deliver perfect results straight away. Simply select your printer and material, import the profile into your slicer, and you’re ready to go.

PRINTING & COMPATIBILITY
DuraPro PC/PBT CF is compatible with all standard FDM printers on the market. Note: a heated bed capable of reaching 100–110°C is recommended.
Yes. As with all carbon-fiber-reinforced materials, the abrasive content will gradually wear down a standard brass nozzle. We recommend a hardened nozzle (e.g., hardened steel or ruby) for smooth, reliable extrusion and consistent nozzle lifespan.
Yes. DuraPro PC/PBT CF is fully compatible with AMS (Automatic Material System) solutions, including the Bambu Lab AMS.
Yes. DuraPro PC/PBT CF is a hygroscopic material and should be dried before printing to achieve optimal print quality. We recommend drying for 8–12 hours at 65°C.
MATERIAL PROPERTIES
DuraPro PC/PBT CF offers greater stiffness and heat resistance than the standard blend, thanks to carbon fiber reinforcement. Unlike most carbon-fiber-reinforced materials, this comes without a trade-off in toughness, impact resistance is retained, and even slightly improved, making it a genuine upgrade rather than a stiffness-for-toughness compromise.
Yes DuraPro PC/PBT CF is suitable for outdoor use.
Yes. DuraPro PC/PBT CF offers good chemical resistance, suited to demanding industrial applications.
CERTIFICATION & COMPLIANCE
No. Carbon fiber reinforced filaments, including DuraPro PC/PBT CF, are not certified for food contact.
Compliance applies to the raw material, not the finished printed part. Any part intended for a regulated application must undergo separate certification by an accredited third-party laboratory. Requirements vary depending on intended use and applicable standards.
CARE & STORAGE
Store DuraPro PC/PBT CF in a dry room at room temperature (18–27°C / 65–80°F). Stored neatly, it is protected from dust and sunlight.
When stored correctly, DuraPro PC/PBT CF has a shelf life of 2 years.
