Strength That Doesn't Warp

Polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG) is one of the world's best-known thermoplastic polymers, valued for its balance of mechanical strength and optical quality. Extrudr PETG is built around low-shrinking technology, so large or detailed parts stay true to shape without warping, even without an enclosure for smaller prints. It offers high chemical resistance and good mechanical properties, making it a dependable choice for functional parts that need to hold up over time. No hardened nozzle is required, and the raw material is certified to FDA, REACH, and RoHS standards, with a flame-retardant rating of UL 94 V-2 as standard.

IDEAL FOR

  • Functional & Mechanical Parts
  • Chemically Resistant Components
  • Water-Exposed Applications

PETG Highlights

FITS ANY PRINTER, ANY SYSTEM

From standard FDM printers to AMS and multi-material setups, Extrudr filament is built to work reliably with the printer you already own.

VERY GOOD CHEMICAL RESISTANCE

Holds up against a broad range of chemicals and solvents, suited to parts that need to withstand real-world exposure.

MADE IN AUSTRIA

From the Austrian Alps, every Extrudr spool is manufactured with care, precision and strict EU standards.

LOW-SHRINKING TECHNOLOGY

Engineered to minimize shrinkage, keeping large and detailed parts dimensionally accurate with minimal warping.

RELIABLE LAYER ADHESION

Strong bonding between layers creates dependable, water-resistant prints, ideal for parts exposed to moisture.

NO HARDENED NOZZLE REQUIRED

Prints reliably through a standard nozzle, no special hardware needed to get consistent results.

PRINTING & COMPATIBILITY

PETG is compatible with all standard FDM printers on the market.

Yes. PETG is fully compatible with AMS (Automatic Material System) solutions, including the Bambu Lab AMS.

PETG is a hygroscopic material, meaning it naturally absorbs moisture from the air over time, which is why most PETG filaments require drying before use to achieve optimal print quality. Extrudr PETG has been tested to print reliably even without drying, making it more forgiving than typical PETG filaments. For best results we recommend drying the filament before printing, particularly after extended exposure to humid conditions or open air.

MATERIAL PROPERTIES

PETG generally performs better outdoors than PLA, offering improved resistance to UV, moisture, and heat. However, prolonged, permanent outdoor exposure can still cause gradual fading or embrittlement over time.

CERTIFICATION & COMPLIANCE

PETG is compliant with FDA, REACH, and RoHS standards. Any printed item intended for food contact needs to be separately certified.

Compliance applies to the raw material, not the finished printed part. Any part intended for a regulated application must undergo separate certification by an accredited third-party laboratory. Requirements vary depending on intended use and applicable standards.

CARE & STORAGE

Store PETG in a dry room at room temperature (18–27°C / 65–80°F). Stored neatly, it is protected from dust and sunlight.

When stored correctly, PETG has a shelf life of 2 years.

Legal guarantee. Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union. Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods: do not match the description; do not function as intended. Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer: free repair or free replacement; in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement. Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year. For more information on your rights in a specific country, scan the QR code below or ask the seller: europa.eu/youreurope/guarantees. What to do if you receive non-conforming goods: 1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue; 2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement. Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.

Perfekte Druckergebnisse

Optik, Vielfalt und Qualität haben mich überzeugt. Seit 3 Jahren kaufe ich deshalb nur noch Filamente von extrudr.
