Strap Mount: Your 3D Printed Baby Pin for Anywhere
No light stand? No problem. This ratchet strap to baby pin adapter turns any tree, post or pole into a mounting point for your lights. Strap it on, tighten the ratchets, and your light sits securely right where you need it. The curved back hugs round surfaces, and two strap slots keep everything locked in place, even outdoors.
Printed using Extrudr’s XPETG MATT Black & PETG Yellow filament, the Strap Mount is built to handle tension, weather and the weight of a studio light. The matte black body is printed with yellow lettering, so you can find it easily in your kit bag. Use our material profiles for optimal print results and maximum efficiency!
Guide to assembling the Strap Mount:
- Insert the baby pin into the hole on the front of the mount
- Fasten the baby pin from the back with the screw and an Allen key until it sits tight
- Place the mount against the tree or post with the curved side facing the surface
- Thread the first ratchet strap through the top slot and around the tree
- Thread the second ratchet strap through the bottom slot and around the tree
- Tighten both ratchets until the mount no longer moves
- Slide your light onto the baby pin and lock it in place
- Light up any location!
