Yes. BioFusion is fully compatible with AMS (Automatic Material System) solutions, including the Bambu Lab AMS.
No. BioFusion has a lower melt flow rate than standard PLA, so it should be printed at reduced speeds and cooling settings for best results. Printing at standard PLA speeds may lead to under-extrusion or inconsistent surface quality. Recommended settings: 20–40 mm/s, with 10–30% cooling.
No. BioFusion achieves its intense, glossy metallic finish straight off the printer, with no polishing or additional post-processing required. For best results, we recommend printing with a 0.4mm nozzle, larger nozzle diameters can affect the surface finish and reduce the intensity of the metallic look.
No. BioFusion is not recommended for outdoor use. Prolonged exposure to sunlight, moisture, or temperature fluctuations can cause warping, fading, or a loss of its signature metallic finish over time.
BioFusion is compliant with FDA, REACH, and EU 10/2011 food contact standards. Any printed item intended for food contact needs to be separately certified.

Store BioFusion in a dry room at room temperature (18–27°C / 65–80°F). Stored neatly, it is protected from dust and sunlight.
When stored correctly, BioFusion has a shelf life of 2 years.
