DuraPro ABS has been specially developed for industrial applications, offering high process reliability for mechanically stressed components. Engineered for low shrinking and warping, addressing one of ABS's best-known printing challenges, it delivers excellent layer and bed adhesion alongside high mechanical stability. The material is electrically insulating, making it well suited to electronic enclosures and housings, and the raw material is approved to REACH, RoHS, and FDA standards.

DuraPro ABS is compatible with all standard FDM printers on the market. Note: an enclosed print space is required, and a heated bed capable of reaching 100–110°C is recommended, printers without these capabilities may not achieve optimal results.
Yes. DuraPro ABS is fully compatible with AMS (Automatic Material System) solutions, including the Bambu Lab AMS.
No. DuraPro ABS prints reliably with a standard nozzle.
Yes. DuraPro ABS is a hygroscopic material and should be dried before printing to achieve optimal print quality. We recommend drying for 10 hours at 60°C.
DuraPro ABS is not recommended for long-term or permanent outdoor use. Like standard ABS, it is prone to UV degradation, which can cause yellowing, brittleness, and reduced mechanical performance over time with prolonged sun exposure. For outdoor applications, consider DuraPro ASA, which is specifically formulated for improved UV resistance.
DuraPro ABS is compliant with FDA, REACH, and RoHS standards. Any printed item intended for food contact needs to be separately certified.
DuraPro ABS is rated UL 94 HB for flame retardancy.
Compliance applies to the raw material, not the finished printed part. Any part intended for a regulated application must undergo separate certification by an accredited third-party laboratory. Requirements vary depending on intended use and applicable standards.
Store DuraPro ABS in a dry room at room temperature (18–27°C / 65–80°F). Stored neatly, it is protected from dust and sunlight.
When stored correctly, DuraPro ABS has a shelf life of 2 years.
Recommended settings for printers with a 0.4 mm nozzle. Max. 50% layer height. Optimal settings may vary between printers and are also dependent on environmental factors.
