DuraPro ASA CF combines ASA's genuine UV and weather resistance with the added stiffness of carbon fiber reinforcement. Carbon fiber content significantly increases rigidity and heat resistance compared to standard ASA, making it well suited to mechanically demanding outdoor and automotive parts. It offers good layer adhesion, low warping, and a matte, technical surface finish. A hardened nozzle is required for printing, due to the abrasive nature of the carbon fiber content.

DuraPro ASA CF is compatible with all standard FDM printers on the market. Note: an enclosed print space is required, and a heated bed capable of reaching 100–110°C is recommended.
Yes. As with all carbon-fiber-reinforced materials, the abrasive content will gradually wear down a standard brass nozzle. We recommend a hardened nozzle (e.g., hardened steel or ruby) for smooth, reliable extrusion and consistent nozzle lifespan.
Yes. DuraPro ASA CF is fully compatible with AMS (Automatic Material System) solutions, including the Bambu Lab AMS.
Yes. DuraPro ASA CF is a hygroscopic material and should be dried before printing to achieve optimal print quality. We recommend drying for 10 hours at 60°C.

DuraPro ASA CF offers greater stiffness and improved heat resistance than standard ASA, thanks to carbon fiber reinforcement. As with all carbon-fiber-reinforced materials, this added rigidity comes with a trade-off in impact resistance compared to standard ASA, making it best suited to applications where stiffness matters more than shock resistance.
No. Carbon fiber reinforced filaments, including DuraPro ASA CF, are not certified for food contact.
DuraPro ASA CF is rated UL 94 HB for flame retardancy.
Compliance applies to the raw material, not the finished printed part. Any part intended for a regulated application must undergo separate certification by an accredited third-party laboratory. Requirements vary depending on intended use and applicable standards.
Store DuraPro ASA CF in a dry room at room temperature (18–27°C / 65–80°F). Stored neatly, it is protected from dust and sunlight.
When stored correctly, DuraPro ASA CF has a shelf life of 2 years.
Recommended settings for printers with a 0.4 mm nozzle. Max. 50% layer height. Optimal settings may vary between printers and are also dependent on environmental factors.
