DuraPro PA12 is a highly functional polyamide (nylon) built for industrial applications. It's characterised by exceptionally high impact and notched impact strength, retaining toughness even at low temperatures, alongside very good heat resistance. Low moisture absorption keeps parts dimensionally stable over time, a genuine advantage of PA12 over other nylon grades, while excellent chemical resistance and easy handling make it a dependable choice for demanding, real-world 3D printing projects.

DuraPro PA12 is compatible with all standard FDM printers on the market. Note: an enclosed print space is required, and a heated bed capable of reaching 110°C is recommended, printers without these capabilities may not achieve optimal results.
Yes. DuraPro PA12 is fully compatible with AMS (Automatic Material System) solutions, including the Bambu Lab AMS.
No. DuraPro PA12 prints reliably with a standard nozzle.
Yes. DuraPro PA12 is a hygroscopic material and should be dried before printing to achieve optimal print quality. We recommend drying for 8–12 hours at 65°C.
DuraPro PA12 offers significantly lower moisture absorption than PA6-based nylons (1.6% vs. typically around 9-10% at saturation), giving it better long-term dimensional stability. This makes it easier to store and print reliably, with less risk of warping from humidity.
Yes. DuraPro PA12 is suitable for outdoor use.
No. DuraPro PA12 is not suitable for food contact.
Store DuraPro PA12 in a dry room at room temperature (18–27°C / 65–80°F). Stored neatly, it is protected from dust and sunlight.
When stored correctly, DuraPro PA12 has a shelf life of 2 years.
Recommended settings for printers with a 0.4 mm nozzle. Max. 50% layer height. Optimal settings may vary between printers and are also dependent on environmental factors.
