PLA Tough offers significantly improved impact resistance, ductility, and overall toughness compared to standard PLA, while maintaining similar ease of printing. It's a better choice for functional parts, snap-fits, brackets, and components subject to shock or dynamic loads, applications where standard PLA would be prone to cracking or snapping.

PLA Tough is not recommended for long-term or permanent outdoor use. As with standard PLA, prolonged exposure to sunlight, moisture, and temperature fluctuations can cause warping, fading, or degradation over time.

PLA Tough is compliant with FDA, REACH, and EU 10/2011 food contact standards. Any printed item intended for food contact needs to be separately certified.

Compliance applies to the raw material, not the finished printed part. Any part intended for a regulated application must undergo separate certification by an accredited third-party laboratory. Requirements vary depending on intended use and applicable standards.

Store PLA Tough in a dry room at room temperature (18–27°C / 65–80°F). Stored neatly, it is protected from dust and sunlight.

When stored correctly, PLA Tough has a shelf life of 2 years.
