XPETG MATT takes standard PETG's balance of mechanical and optical properties and adds a refined matte surface finish. Where regular PETG has a glossy surface, XPETG MATT delivers a clean, non-reflective look that visibly reduces layer lines, ideal for design objects and functional parts alike. It also offers improved heat resistance, holding its shape at temperatures up to 85–95°C, well above standard PETG. The raw material is FDA, REACH, and RoHS compliant, and fully recyclable.

Yes. XPETG MATT is a hygroscopic material, meaning it naturally absorbs moisture from the air over time, which can affect surface finish, layer adhesion, and lead to print defects such as bubbling or stringing if printed wet. We recommend drying the filament before printing, especially after exposure to humid conditions or open air.
XPETG MATT generally performs better outdoors than PLA, offering improved resistance to UV, moisture, and heat. However, prolonged, permanent outdoor exposure can still cause gradual fading or embrittlement over time.
XPETG MATT is compliant with FDA, REACH, and RoHS standards. Any printed item intended for food contact needs to be separately certified.

Store XPETG MATT in a dry room at room temperature (18–27°C / 65–80°F). Stored neatly, it is protected from dust and sunlight.

Recommended settings for printers with a 0.4 mm nozzle. Max. 50% layer height. Optimal settings may vary between printers and are also dependent on environmental factors.
